Marketing on behalf of one of my fastidious clients, this magnificent TW-Acustic Raven One turntable, c/w with TW Raven 10.5 tonearm, Raven AC controller and custom dust cover, all in excellent condition. Package also includes a beautiful Koetsu Black Gold Leaf MC Cartridge in its original box currently retailing for around $16,000.00 new. It has a new Ogura Vital 2.5/75 micron extended line contact Koetsu stylus and new Koetsu boron cantilever just fitted by Joseph Long/Groove.
The Sound: Owners of Urushi cartridges rebuilt by him report that they return sounding "absolutely sublime", preserving the famous lush midrange while often gaining a touch of cleaner tracking and top-end air.
All Koetsu Urushi models use silver cladded ultra-high purity copper coils. This process involves a silver sheath being slowly drawn over the copper.

German Craftsmanship:
The Raven One is precision-crafted to extremely tight tolerances finished in sleek anodised black. Unique plinth design minimises unwanted vibrations, matching the platter size and extending for the tonearm and motor.
High-Quality Bearing System:
An inverted bearing with a hardened steel pin and a steel ring mounted to the plinth. The bearing sleeve inside the heavy platter includes Teflon components for smooth rotation, all supported by three aluminium cones for further isolation.
Direct Drive Belt System:
The motor is enclosed in a heavy-duty box mounted to the side, with torque transferred directly to the main platter via a proprietary flat belt, eliminating the need for a sub-platter.
TW-Acustic Raven 10.5 Tonearm:
Is widely considered an exceptional, world-class reference tonearm that excels in mechanical stability, low-noise performance, and explosive dynamics. Consider it an "endgame" component. The VTA can be adjusted while listening to the music to help fine tune the sound of your cartridge.

This unit was purchased new from the official New Zealand distributor in 2013 and comes with the original boxes, manuals, and all the tone arm accessories.
