New

The USB-1 option for the REVO IPA-140 integrated amplifier consists of two independent sandwich-mounted boards. One contains the digital input and conversion part, the other the analog and output filtering stages.
This card is not to be considered as the mere addition of a digital input, but rather a top quality solution, able to compete with the best converters on the market.
Furthermore, since it is a component to be installed inside the device, it eliminates the need to have an interconnection cable, which if of high quality would be much more expensive than the USB card itself and perhaps the external DAC itself .
The USB receiverit is a Tenor TE8802L, capable of supporting frequencies up to 192 KHz, both in synchronous and asynchronous mode. On Apple systems, it does not require driver installation.
The Digital-Analog converter used is the Wolfson WM8741, one of the most modern and appreciated DACs, capable of working up to 24 bit and 192 KHz (with 32 bit internal calculation operations).
The digital card mounts three independent voltage regulators, and a local oscillator with high stability and low phase noise. Three different digital filters can be selected simply by means of a jumper on the board, to obtain different time and phase responses.
Special attention has been paid to the analog section: in fact, thanks to a proprietary solution, only one active stage is located on the signal path, in order to minimise the influence on the sound performance.
The USB card can easily be inserted into the device at any time.
