We create industrial “works of art” that simply out-perform any custom or commercially available speaker system in the world.

REVIEWERS SUMMARY: MAGICO’s S7 M-Coat White loudspeaker accompanied by Soulution electronics, sounded absolutely solid, full-range, and musical. Their presentation is distinctively different from all the Wilson loudspeakers I heard, which is where personal preference comes into play. When we played 24/96 files of the Seattle Symphony's live performance of the final two tracks of Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring in the Magico S7 / Soulution room, we all sat in awe at the presentation's absolute top-to-bottom control and musicality.......

Towering over other S-Series models, the S7 is a full range, 3-way loudspeaker that incorporates new tweeter, midrange and bass driver designs which are derived from the engineering triumphs in the M-Pro loudspeaker.

The S7 houses three 10-inch bass drivers that have extremely powerful magnets and ultra-stiff aluminium cones which are capable of producing deep powerful bass frequencies with speed and accuracy. The excursion rate of the voice coil is measured at 15-mm linear movement and produces clean and undistorted sound pressure levels up to 120dB @ 50Hz / 1-meter.

The new midrange driver brings a new benchmark of technology and performance to Magico. The cone material is formed of Arkema Multi-Wall carbon nanotube and Nanographene which combined is 20% lighter and 300% stiffer than previous cone material designs.

The midrange driver operates in a purpose built sub-enclosure made of a proprietary polymer material that controls the back wave pressure and creates a perfect and isolated operating environment.

A newly designed 1-inch tweeter features a diamond-coated beryllium diaphragm with optimized geometry, created using state-of-the-art Finite Element analysis modeling tools. This purpose built tweeter has extra-long excursion movement and use a neodymium based motor system that is customised to match sensitivity and power handling capabilities of the S7 while maintaining ultra-wide dispersion characteristics and ultra-low distortion measurements.

All five drivers in the S7 are acoustically integrated using Magico’s exclusive Elliptical Symmetry Crossover topology that includes state-of-the-art components from Mundorf of Germany.

The visual experience of the S7 is one of beauty and prominence. Curvaceous aluminum side panels that are machined in-house from half-inch thick aluminium extrusions which are sixteen-inches in diameter form the acoustic suspension enclosure. Internal bracing is carefully positioned throughout the enclosure to minimise disturbing resonances and create an ideal operating environment.

A massive four-point outrigger supports this statuesque tower and each adjustable spike provides a perfect balancing act for this 300-pound (136kg) goliath.

In addition to Magico’s signature finish – Anodised Black, the S7 is available in a variety of finishes which makes it easy to integrate into the décor of any listening area in the home. M-Cast (six different colours) is a textured powder coat finish and M-Coat (six different colours) is a lustrous high-gloss paint finish.

A portion of the industrial design for the S7 includes a protective grille that is magnetically held in place on the front baffle. The magnets align the grille into perfect positioning on the front baffle and are easily removed when inquisitive fingers are not around and more critical listening is desired.

I never dreamt when I first contacted you that I would end up with the system that we now enjoy!

Hi Terry,

Many thanks to you and the delivery team for getting those magnificent speakers safely installed on Tuesday, they certainly are impressive in both appearance and sound!

You always wonder if you have made the right decision and if the new equipment will live up to your expectations especially an item as significant as this. After only 2 days the answer is a very definite YES!!

I have always believed that the true purpose of a high end system is 2 fold – primarily to give enjoyment to the listener/s, but secondly in so doing it is to bring the artist or artists into the living room, if you were to close your eyes you should be able to imagine the performers right there in front of you.
The Magico S7 do that and much more. The sound is so clear and clean, a very wide sound stage and brilliant imaging. The resolution is so good that you are able to pick out each instrument and the timbre of each note. But it seems more than that as everything blends together into a brilliantly enjoyable experience.

I have played a number of tracks now but there were 2 in particular that had been played a number of times on my previous gear and were enjoyable but played through the Magico’s gave an amazing WOW it has never sounded like that before!! I’m finding that you do hear notes and tones not heard before, right through the range.
The reason for choosing the S7 was the base extension, and so far it is exceeding expectations, very tight, strong and extended but thankfully not overdone. The base is there when needed and is very precise and deep.

It’s a wonderful combination from the MSB DAC & UMT/ Acoustic Arts Mono III’s and now the Magico S7’s. Judy and I are looking forward to much enjoyment and many very pleasant hours exploring.

Thanks Terry for your advice over the last almost 2 years, I never dreamt when I first contacted you that I would end up with the system that we now enjoy!

Kind Regards
