EAT 312 12" tonearm (modeled on classic old style Ortofon Studio tonearm)

The EAT-312 tonearm actually comes out of the famous classic OLD Ortofon Studio tonearm,which was mainly used for Ortofon Spu cartridges, it.is a based around a heavy design built that is well suited for older style  heavy cartridges and LOW resonace frequency. 

In many listening rests we realized that a low resonant frequenz tonarm (lt is like a lower cost option Ikeda,tonearm ) it fits the EAT Forte turntables very well as these also have a very low resonace frequency. We know that the tonearm is not particualarly ideal for for lightweighted low mass cartridges, although it can still work quite satisfactory if weighted correctly...

A lot of people who dont understand the mechanics of turntables may not particularly like  the fixed preadjusted antiskating as well as its avarage  theoretically tracking ability (70 micromm max.) bt it in fact peforms well.

Please note that this new improved addition of the classc Ortofon is as highly acclaimed as the old SPU cartriges.You love it or you hate it it. We use  in our personal system, still this old heavy mass school of Ta and cartridge ; (we have close to 25 different cartriges, we listen to,very expensive ones and for sure  several Spus) for a lot of records this simple sound better .
