WHERE PASSION MEETS TECHNOLOGY

New

The Helix One-V represents the new reference standard from what is possible in contemporary analogue turntable design.

The Helix One has set a new standard for turntable performance, so how do you improve on that design? According to designer Mark Döhmann, the process of improvement and innovation never stops.

The Helix One is now available with the ultimate clamping system – a new propriety Vacuum Hold Down system. By employing a sophisticated proprietary low-pressure vacuum system, the record is held down securely & flat on the platter. This eliminates vinyl resonance because the record appears to be part of the platter, therefore appearing to have very high mass & damping characteristics. This function utilises the same principles that were used for the creation of LP masters. The Helix One-V has a new custom designed Swiss-manufactured motor which incorporates the very latest technology around constant torque performance and quietness of operation. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time a motor of such specification has been used in audio applications.

Our new ‘PowerBase’ is designed to enhance the performance of the Helix One-V system with a new power supply and control software to drive the new motor. It also has special high frequency and RF absorption features, a suspension stabiliser for ease of operation during record changeover, a lighting control system and power filtration functions.

The results are quite stunning and place the Helix One-V at a level of performance previously not experienced. Listen to a Döhmann Helix One-V and discover the ultimate potential and enjoyment of analogue audio.
